mySmarty is committed to your privacy. This Privacy Statement describes the types of information we collect from and about you when you visit our website www.mySmarty.io (the "Site"), use our computer or mobile applications (each an "App"), or use our online services (the Site, App, and online services are collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Statement also explains how mySmarty may use and disclose such information, as well as your ability to control certain uses of it.
mySmarty collects personal information from you when you choose to share it with us to use our Service, create an online account with us, request information from us, sign up for newsletters or our email list, participate in a survey or promotion, or otherwise contact us. The personal information we collect may include your name, address, email address, telephone number, birthday, anniversary, gender, languages spoken, photo/image, geolocation information, mobile device identifier and, if you are a mySmarty customer, credit/debit card number, bank account or other financial information. You may be required to provide certain personal information to create your mySmarty account. If you use a third party login to create your account (such as Facebook Connect or Google+) or otherwise link to us, we may receive certain information about you from the third party (such as a social network) based on your registration and privacy settings on those third party services. You may also choose to provide us with a bug report to help improve the Service, which sends us technical information about your computer/device environment and hardware such as details about amount or type of memory on your device or the presence or type of audio and video cards. We may combine the information you provide to us with information from and about you that we automatically collect when you use the Service, from third parties, or other online sources.
We may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, log files, or other technologies to collect certain information about visitors to and users of our Service, and interactions with our emails and online or mobile advertisements. mySmarty may disclose the information we collect from and about you as follows: (1) to our Service Providers, if the disclosure will enable them to perform a business, professional or technical support function for us; (2) to contracted Merchant shops participating in the “Site” (3) as necessary if we believe that there has been a violation of the mySmarty Terms of Use or of our rights or the rights of any third party; (4) to respond to judicial process and provide information to law enforcement or regulatory agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law; and (5) as described to you at the point of collection. Except as described in this Privacy Statement, we will not share, sell, rent, or lease your personal information to a third party for its own use.
mySmarty may share aggregate or anonymous non-personal information with third parties.
Also, mySmarty may sell or purchase assets during the normal course of our business. If another entity acquires us or any of our assets, information we have collected about you may be transferred to such entity. In addition, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, such information may be considered an asset of ours and may be sold or transferred to third parties. Should such a sale or transfer occur, we will use reasonable efforts to try to require that the transferee use personal information provided through this Service in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Statement.
mySmarty may contract with third parties to perform functions related to the Service ("Service Providers"). Service Providers will have access to your information needed to perform their business functions, but may not use or share that information for other purposes.
Any given feedback, rating or reviews to your purchases made with your SmartyID may become public information. Please exercise caution when disclosing personal information in the information that you provide.
The Service may have links to third-party websites or applications, which may have privacy policies that differ from our own. We are not responsible for the practices of such sites or applications.
Protecting children's privacy is important to us. We do not direct the Service to, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from, people under the age of eighteen.
We have taken certain physical, administrative, and technical steps to safeguard the information we collect from and about our customers and Site visitors. While we make every effort to help ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee our security measures.
When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card information) on our forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
To update your information stored by mySmarty, you may sign in to your account and update your personal information.
